The Magnificat booklet with prayers for the success of the Pope’s visit, prayer of preparation, texts of the times of public prayer that Pope Benedict will take part in, along with some brief articles which explain something of the context of the prayer and other events of the Papal visit are at the back. Please take a copy home today. Those attending any of the Papal liturgies are “urged to take this booklet with them to serve as their participation aid”. As there are about 200 copies I would urge everyone to take a copy whether or not they intend to go to any of the liturgies. In preparation for the Pope’s visit in September Bishop Logan will be celebrating special Masses throughout the diocese, to which all are invited. The last of these Diocesan Masses willl take place on Wednesday 1st September, 7pm, St Andrew’s Cathedral Dundee. |

The Justice and Peace Conference 2010 will take place at the Dunkeld Pastoral Centre, 24-28 Lawside Road, on Saturday 18th September. The conference is free, but booking is essential. Forms are available at the back of the church. |
